The Mitten Tree is back this year as the Giving Tree to benefit area children and young people. Look for the tree to be up after Thanksgiving. There will be requests for things that area children need. Just select one from the tree, purchase the needed item and return it to the tree for decoration. The items will be distributed before Christmas.
