Also present were members and friends, Sky Mitchell, Huey Mitchell, Betty Golding, Austin Pennington, Paul Blakely, and Jerry Kircus.

Programming Report:
Erika reported programs for November:
November 7    Religious Baggage, Mary Andrews
November 14  The Wisdom of Contraries, Rev. Dr. Lynn Bauman
November 21  Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, Donna McCann
November 28  Thanksgiving, Becca Strine, Happy King, and Austin Pennington
Newsletter Report: Huey expressed the need to synchronize the email address with the new web page administration.  Because of the politically sensitive nature of her activities abroad, Marolyn would prefer that no information about her travels be included in the newsletter at this time.
Old Business: No Old Business
New Business: No New Business.
Building Committee: Many members viewed the property available on Alpine.  The appraised value is $167,000 and utilities are expected to run approximately $300 per month.
Some members expressed concerns about the lack of cooking facilities (kitchen).
The asking price for the building is $188,000 and it has been on the market over one year.  The realtor is Arthur Davis with "Holmes," who has the rights to sell until January.
Discussion about the history of the building included information that the Jehovah's Witness built the building.  Huey feels that there should be a concrete plan for buying the building before anything else is presented to the congregation.  Austin offered to buy $25,000 worth of bonds to be repaid by the Fellowship at 7% interest.  Erika expressed concern that all avenues for funds be explored.
It was decided that Frank and Jay (President and Treasurer of the board) will join the building committee and together they will prepare a plan to recommend to the congregation.

Frank adjourned the meeting at 11:00

                                Respectfully submitted,

                                Ellen Herbert, Secretary
